Ford has revealed its 2019 Foresters will feature a back-mounted display unit similar to that of the outgoing Forester, which will enable the car to offer an on-board digital display.
The new Forester sedan and hatchback models will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
The Forester Sport will be able to achieve a 0-60mph (0-100km/h) time of 2.8 seconds, while the Foresters Touring and Sport models will achieve a 2.4-second time and a top speed of 205mph (300km/hour).
The Foresters Forester Limited and Forester Coupe will also get the back-up infotactics, while new Foresters Limited will be available with a rear view camera for a range of features.
The 2018 Forester is the first car in the lineup to feature the rear-view camera, while its 2018 Sport Coupe is the only model with a full-height driver’s side mirror.
Ford also unveiled a few details for the 2019 Forests Touring, including a new interior that is designed with premium materials and touches.
The cabin is a carbon fiber design with a new grille, the rear fender spoiler and a new steering wheel, while a new driver’s seat will be introduced for the Touring model.
A new exterior trim is also set to be available in the 2019 Touring sedan.
This includes a rear diffuser, new front and rear fascia, new instrument panels and a full grille.
